Product Marketing is a new function at PeopleKeep, formed to drive deeper market understanding of customers’ needs and buying preferences, stronger product messaging, and more effective go-to-market efforts. This multifaceted role makes a strategic impact on our business. The right candidate is high energy, results driven, and passionate about strategic marketing for product and service offerings, and ideally has SaaS experience and benefits administration or HR management domain expertise. The position reports to the Director of Marketing.
Drive messaging, positioning and go-to-market strategies for benefits-related software solutions.
Lead product messaging. Quantify the value proposition of our offers for customers.
Collaborate with the Director of Product Management to translate technical product capabilities into customer-focused benefits.
Partner with sales, marketing, and product colleagues to package and position PeopleKeep offerings.
Lead go-to-market plans for new products or market segment launches as well as product retirements.
Work with the marketing team to create high-value customer-facing collateral, including but not limited to, customer case studies, ROI analyses, e-books, videos, infographics, web pages, and presentations.
Collaborate closely on demand generation programs, providing campaign design and planning input and compelling content and materials to be used in their campaigns per the agreed-upon plan.
Develop high-value sales tools and contribute to sales and partner enablement.
Perform competitive analysis and provide specific competitive intelligence to sales, product management and customer experience teams.
Conduct and manage market research. Drive market segmentation analysis. Help identify and build relationships with key industry partners.
Become an industry expert with a deep understanding of our regulatory landscape, act as our “policy wonk” and legislation commentator.
Develop a keen understanding of buyer personas, buyer needs, industry influencers and decision makers. Participate in customer, analyst and partner meetings.
Champion our customers and their unmet needs or jobs to be done within our organization.
Work closely with the product and sales team to develop and explain the pricing of our products
Proven work experience as a Product Marketer, preferably SaaS B2B
Benefits industry knowledge highly desirable
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and polished presentation abilities.
Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with experience working with market research data.
Proven track record of working cross-functionally, ability to think and work strategically, but also execute as an individual contributor.
An undergraduate degree required
Benefits or HR industry experience highly desirable.
Pragmatic Marketing training and certification desirable.
